Gurugram's nightlife exists in three pockets — Cyber Hub, Sector 29, and Golf Course Road hotel bars — and one honest club scene at Kitty Su and one or two others in DLF Phase 3. Nothing else is worth chasing. The city closes officially at 1am but rooftops in Sector 29 run to 2-3am on Fridays and Saturdays if the crowd stays. Weekdays before Thursday, most of the interesting places are half-empty, which is either a gift or a warning depending on your temperament.

Do not drive yourself even if you rented a car; DUI checks on Golf Course Road are real and expensive.
Stop 1 (6pm): sunset at Molecule Air Bar, Sector 29
Sector 29 has half a dozen rooftops facing west across the city. Molecule Air Bar and Prankster are the two that consistently do the sunset well — arrive at 5.45pm on a weekday, 6.15pm on a weekend, and you get a corner table with a view of the sky doing its thing until about 7pm. Craft beer runs ₹571-₹761, cocktails ₹951-₹1331. Order one and a plate of nachos or paneer tikka (₹761) to hold the table.
Do not eat dinner here. The food is fine, not memorable, and you are moving in an hour. The point of stop one is the light, the crowd calibration (Sector 29 gets mostly local corporate 25-40s), and the drink pace. This is also the cheapest and easiest stop to bail from if the night is not landing — pay the ₹1521 tab and go home. Nights that break at stop two rarely improve later.
Stop 2 (7.30pm): dinner at Cyber Hub
Cab 12 minutes to Cyber Hub. Every good restaurant here has a bar section — Farzi Cafe, Soda Bottle Opener Wala, Punjab Grill, Dhaba by Claridges — and you want the bar section, not the tables, if you are running a nightlife night. Order less than you would for a normal dinner. One shared main, one small plate, one drink. ₹2853-₹3804 a head. Farzi's molecular North Indian is the show; Punjab Grill's dal makhani is the comfort; Soda Bottle Opener Wala's Parsi berry pulao is the deep cut.
By 9pm you are out and walking Cyber Hub's central lawn where a DJ or live act usually runs on Friday and Saturday nights until 11pm. Free to walk through, and the crowd density gives you a read on which direction the night is going. Cyber Hub itself is not a late venue — most restaurants stop seating at 11pm — so it is a middle-of-the-night stop, not a finish.
Stop 3 (9.30pm): the second bar — Local, Soi 7, or a hotel lobby
Now you pick your night's temperature. Cool version: Trident Gurgaon lobby bar or the Hyatt Regency's bar for a proper single-malt (₹1521-₹2092) and quiet conversation until 11pm. Warm version: back to Sector 29 to Local, Soi 7 or Warehouse for the mid-tier bar-club hybrid. Hot version: cab to Kitty Su or one of the DLF Phase 3 clubs to arrive at 11pm when the queue is still manageable. Choose before you leave Cyber Hub — reversing course after 10pm is expensive.
The Trident lobby is where visiting executives and expats spend their nights, and it reads a specific kind of Gurugram very well — quiet, moneyed, English-language, no music you can hear over conversation. Sector 29's Local reads a different kind — younger, louder, cocktails at ₹1141, dance floor by 10.30pm. Neither is objectively better; both are fully functional. Pick the one that matches how you feel at 9.30pm, not how you felt at 6pm.
Stop 4 (11pm): Kitty Su or the equivalent club
Kitty Su at the Lalit is Gurugram's most consistently interesting club — LGBTQ-friendly, actual booking of international DJs, and a room that fills properly on Fridays and Saturdays. Cover is ₹1712-₹2853 depending on the night and the act. The queue at 11pm is 15 minutes; at 12.30am it is 45. Get there by 11.15pm. Drinks inside run ₹951-₹1426, wardrobe is smart-casual (no shorts, no flip-flops), and the crowd is a genuine mix of Gurugram professionals, Delhi expats and out-of-towners.
If Kitty Su is not running or does not appeal, Playboy Club or one of the newer Cyber Hub-adjacent clubs runs the same time slot with a Bollywood-forward playlist and a different crowd. Skip anything in a mall food-court basement; the sound is bad and the crowd is inconsistent. Two hours at one good club beats bar-hopping through three mediocre ones.
Stop 5 (1am): the late-night food stop
By 1am you need salt and carbs. Two options run reliably late in Gurugram: the roll and paratha stalls near MG Road that stay open until 2am, and the 24-hour restaurants at the airport hotels (Radisson Blu, Lemon Tree Premier near IGI). A kathi roll at MG Road is ₹285, a full paratha plate at a 24-hour hotel restaurant is ₹1141. Both do the job — reset the blood sugar, absorb the alcohol, and give you 20 minutes to sober up before the cab home.
Do not skip this stop even if you are not hungry. The morning after a Gurugram nightlife night is either bearable or unbearable and the difference is whether you ate salt-and-oil food at 1am. The other rule: drink 750ml of water before you sleep. Every good Gurugram bartender knows the drill and will hand you a bottle if you ask. Take it.
Stop 6 (2am): the exit and the ride home
By 2am you are in an Uber back to the hotel. Rides on Golf Course Road at 2am run ₹380-₹761 depending on the origin. Surge pricing kicks in on Saturday nights around midnight and eases by 2am — the cheapest ride home is usually between 1.30am and 2.30am. Do not walk any distance in Gurugram at 2am regardless of feeling fine; the roads are car roads, footpaths disappear randomly, and the risk-benefit is bad.
If you are still going at 2am and the club is still going, stay another hour and then get home. Do not chase a fourth venue — nothing new opens after 2am in Gurugram, and every extra hour past 3am costs the whole next day. Sleep by 3am, breakfast by 11am, functional by 2pm. Anything else is negotiating with physics.
Where to sleep after a night like this
Sleep at Hilton Gurugram Baani City Centre (₹17116-₹20919), DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Gurgaon New Delhi NCR (₹13312-₹16165), or the Lalit if you specifically went to Kitty Su and want to stumble upstairs. All three are on or near Golf Course Road and 10-15 minutes from every venue on the route. The Lalit is the cheat code if you plan to close Kitty Su hard — ₹12361-₹16165 for a room and no cab home.
Do not stay in Old Gurugram or Sector 15 for a nightlife weekend. The neighbourhoods are fine but the cab ride home from Sector 29 or Cyber Hub adds 20 minutes and ₹951 every night. Do not stay near IGI unless you are catching a 7am flight the next morning; the strip has no walking nightlife and every venue requires a cab. Golf Course Road is worth the ₹2853 premium a night for the walking distance.
