Why people stay in Cyber City
Cyber City is the reason most people fly into Gurugram in the first place. Twelve DLF towers plus the Building 8 and 9 cluster house the India offices of Google, Microsoft, EY, KPMG, IBM and roughly every consultancy you can name. At 9pm on a Tuesday the towers are still half-lit, Cyber Hub next door is packed three-deep at Soi 7, and the surge on Uber to Aerocity has just hit 2.4x. This is the ESG-committee India offsite address — LEED-certified towers, the walkable Cyber Hub food court, and hotels that understand carbon-reporting queries at check-in. The Rapid Metro station tucked under Building 5 empties out fast after 8pm, and by then most of the lunchtime food-court queues at Building 10 have thinned to the security guards and the last analysts finishing a call.
Skip Cyber City if you want anything resembling old India — there is none here, and the nearest thing to a heritage building is the Ambience Mall parking ramp. Weekends are dead by local standards; the towers empty out and Cyber Hub becomes a suburban date-night destination for DLF Phase families. Cyber City suits the traveller whose day starts with a 9am client call and ends with a Cyber Hub dinner reservation — not the traveller chasing temples or bazaars. If that is you, Hyatt Regency Gurgaon and Grand Hyatt Gurgaon sit a short cab ride south on Golf Course Road and make a reasonable alternative base with the same towers a 15-minute drive away. Families and leisure travellers are better served in Sector 29 or on MG Road, where the pavements are livelier after dark and prices run ₹4000-₹6000 lower for a comparable room.
Lunchtime is the real rush hour here, not the evening. Between 12:30 and 2pm the basement food courts of Building 8 and Building 10 fill with lanyards, and the queue for the busiest counters can run fifteen minutes deep. By 6pm the Cyber Hub terraces take over, and Soi 7's rooftop stays loud until well past midnight on Thursdays and Fridays — the two nights Gurugram's own office crowd treats as the weekend.

The two-level open-air food street directly behind DLF Building 10 — 40+ restaurants including Farzi Cafe, Soi 7 microbrewery and Molecule. Busiest 8-11pm weekdays; go before 7pm for a table without a wait.
Rotating installations sit in the plazas between Buildings 5, 8 and 10, curated by Nature Morte. Free, accessible during office hours, best photographed early morning before the smokers arrive at 9:30am.
Directly across NH-48 via the skywalk from Leela Ambience. Zara, Uniqlo, PVR Director's Cut cinema and a decent food court on level 3. Skip weekends after 2pm — parking hell.
Diya restaurant does a serious buffet brunch, ₹4279 with alcohol, noon to 3:30pm. Book two days ahead. Consistently the best value business-hotel brunch in Gurugram — Aerocity charges ₹7132 for the same thing.
Inside Ambience Mall, level 3, this premium screen has recliner seating and in-seat service; tickets run ₹800-₹1200. Shows start from 10am; book the 9:30pm slot after work, since weekend afternoons sell out to DLF Phase families.
The elevated line runs from Sikanderpur to DLF Phase 3 via Cyber City and Belvedere Towers, six stops, ₹20 flat fare, first train 6am, last 10pm. Ride it for the view over Golf Course Road and NH-48 rather than as a real commute — the full loop takes about 12 minutes.

Getting around Cyber City
From IGI Airport Terminal 3, Cyber City is 12-18 minutes on the Dwarka Expressway or 25 via NH-48 depending on time; Meru or Uber runs ₹761-₹1331. The Rapid Metro connects Cyber City to Sikanderpur on the Yellow Line — six stations, ₹20 flat, runs 6am-10pm. From Sikanderpur, the Delhi Metro Yellow Line continues to Huda City Centre in one direction and all the way to Delhi's Central Secretariat in the other, useful for a day trip into Delhi. Inside the complex, app-cabs pick up only from designated bays outside Building 10 and Building 5, not at random kerbs, so budget an extra five minutes for the walk to the bay. Cycle-rickshaws and shared autos hover near the Cyber Hub gates for the last-mile hop to Ambience Mall for ₹30-₹50. The whole complex is 800m corner to corner on foot. Do not attempt to drive between towers at lunchtime.

Inside the DLF complex, yes — pavements are wide and the Cyber Hub-to-Building 10 loop is entirely pedestrian. Crossing NH-48 to Ambience Mall requires the skywalk; do not attempt at grade. Between Cyber City and Sector 29 you need a cab.
