This is not a promotional discount that hotels advertise — it is simply demand-driven, and it disappears the moment Diwali travel and the wedding cluster arrive. If you plan Gurugram trips six months out, this is when to plan them.
What is actually open and worth doing then
Sultanpur National Park reopens for the migratory bird season around mid-October, with the first arrivals — Siberian ducks, painted storks, greater flamingos in the shallows — appearing in numbers by month-end. Entry is roughly ₹143 for Indians and ₹571 for foreigners, and a 6am arrival catches the birds before the day-tripper buses.
