What varies is whether your booked room is available at that hour or whether you spend two hours in the lobby waiting for housekeeping. Under Indian hotel practice the standard check-in is 2pm and check-out is noon; anything earlier is either an early check-in (chargeable, sometimes free) or a day-use overnight (a separate booking).
The eight hotels below are ranked by what happens when a real guest lands at IGI at 1.30am, clears immigration by 2.15am, and walks into a Gurugram lobby at 3.10am. Three of them hand you your room key and a bottle of water within ten minutes. Two of them charge a half-day supplement of ₹2853-₹5705. Two of them ask you to wait until 6am. The international chains and the honoured-at-arrival room

The catch is that you must book direct (or through a corporate channel) and mark the flight on the booking. OTA reservations do not carry the flight-number field and the front desk treats them as standard 2pm check-ins even for platinum-tier members. For a guaranteed 3am room with no supplement, book an international chain business-brand property in Cyber City direct on the chain website with the flight number marked. This delivers roughly nine times out of ten. For an equivalent guarantee at a lower rate, book the Aerocity cluster the same way — three properties in the cluster run identical policies and prices are ₹1426-₹2853 lower for equivalent class. For a short overnight, skip the city hotel entirely and use the T3 transit hotel or an Aerocity day-use booking.
Avoid domestic mid-market chains for genuinely late arrivals unless you are willing to pay the half-day supplement or book a placeholder night. Avoid OTA bookings if you want any flexibility at the desk — the chain-direct rate advantage is small and the operational leverage is large. And avoid the temptation to book a cheap Sohna Road three-star for a 2am arrival; the transfer alone will take 55 minutes at that hour and every minute of sleep saved matters more than the ₹2853 you saved on the room.
