What to expect at Ambience Mall

Ambience is the anchor mall of DLF Phase 3, sitting on 2.1 million square feet along NH-48 and one of the ten largest malls in India by retail area. It opened in 2007 and remains where Gurugram's corporate crowd does most of its serious shopping — Zara, H&M, Sephora, Uniqlo, Apple, Muji all have flagship stores here. The layout is a single very long axis with two atria, which makes it easier to navigate than the more sprawling DLF Mall of India across the border in Noida.

The ground floor is anchor stores and F&B; upper floors run through fashion, electronics and home. A 7-screen PVR occupies the second floor, with a dedicated Gold Class screen for premium seating. The ice rink on the third floor is India's largest, running open sessions daily; it also hosts hockey clinics. The food court is unusually good — Bombay Salad Co, Punjab Grill and Wow! Momo among the reliable stalls — and there are sit-down restaurants including Yauatcha and Farzi Cafe on the ground floor.

Come weekday afternoons if you want to shop without queues. Fridays after 6pm and all weekend it fills up. Parking is 3,000 spaces in the basement (₹40/hour); the mall runs a free shuttle from Sikanderpur metro every fifteen minutes. Ambience is a straight ten-minute drive from Cyber City, and many business travellers use it for suit alterations, gift shopping and the PVR Gold Class as an evening break. Return-to-hotel taxis queue at the north exit.
