What to expect at Aravalli Golf Club
Aravalli Golf Club is Gurugram's public 9-hole course, laid out in Sector 43 close to Huda City Centre. Compared to the private DLF Golf and Country Club or the ITC-run Classic Golf Country Club, this is the working option — greens fees a fifth of the private rates, non-members welcome, and the course maintained to a decent standard. It is the club most business travellers use if their hotel does not include DLF Golf access.
The course plays 3,100 yards over 9 holes and can be played as an 18-hole loop with alternate tees. It is not championship terrain — flat, tight, with mature trees — but it is a proper morning's golf and adequate for a business-guest round. There is a small pro shop with rental clubs (₹800/set), a caddy pool (₹500 for 9 holes) and a modest clubhouse with lockers, showers and a canteen. Practice range is 20 bays and a chipping green.
Book tee times a day ahead by phone. Weekday mornings are the quietest and coolest; the course opens at 6am from October to March, 5:30am in summer. Golf carts are limited so reserve one at booking (₹800/round). The dress code is standard — collared shirt, no jeans. Combine with lunch at MG Road, ten minutes away, or return to the corporate hotel for an afternoon meeting.
